Tackled SDGs
In my refugee community there is a huge number of girls who drop out of school because their parents don’t meet their basic needs.
These young ladies are exposed and are victims of defilement and sexual assault. due to this, they become traumatized teenage mothers. To eradicate on this problem, AgroRoom project has put in place a program of training them to grow mushrooms and sell mushroom products such as dried mushrooms, fresh mushrooms, thus learning how to make Mushroom wine and mushroom coffee. which will give them enough revenue to sustain their livelihood and restore smile on their faces.
These mushroom they grow after training are a rich, low calorie source of fiber, protein, and antioxidants which mitigate the risk of developing serious health conditions, such as heart disease, cancer, and diabetes.
