Bamboo Water Tank is providing affordable water harvesting solution for rural households. With the ever increasing challenge of water shortage, more and more rural communities are forced to walk long distances in search of water. In the rural African context, women and girls are often the ones who fetch water. Therefore in walking such long distances, they are exposed to dangerous situations that affect their core existence and femininity.

Our tanks are made from bamboo and cement. Bamboo plants being common, we are able to construct more tanks for households while replenishing them by planting more bamboo plants.
