Doctor Bahati Project provides early cervical cancer screening and treatment for young women and mothers in rural communities. Cervical cancer is silently becoming a killer to most women and yet once detected early can be treated. Cervical cancer is still very unknown to many women in rural areas and don’t know the extent of the damage it can cause to their lives. For each community, we conduct awareness creation and detection with those showing early signs provided treatment.
